Hymnus

“Hymnus” is the first verse from the hymn “Verbum supernum prodiens”, written by Saint Thomas Aquinas for the Feast of Corpus Christi.

The translation reads: “The Word descending from above, without leaving the right hand of his Father, and going forth to do his work, reached the evening of his life.”
